Rent a cloud GPU in Nepal, pay in rupees
PowerPod rents NVIDIA GPUs, from an RTX 3060 to an H100, by the second. Prices are in Nepali rupees, you pay by card in NPR, and JupyterLab opens in your browser: nothing to install and no subscription in dollars.

What you can build
How paying works
- Add credits by card in Nepali rupees on a secure Stripe page; they appear as soon as the payment goes through. The smallest top-up is NPR 200.
- The payment is processed abroad, so your card must be enabled for international online payments.
- A running machine is billed by the second; a stopped one pays only for its disk.
- Daily and monthly spending limits, timers and an idle stop keep the bill where you want it.
- Download a statement of your account from the console for your records.
Rent or buy?
NVIDIA launched the RTX 4090 at US$1,599, about NPR 2,45,511 at today’s exchange rate, before import duty, VAT, shipping and the shop’s margin, and you still need the rest of the computer and the electricity. At NPR 96 an hour, that money rents one here for about 2,557 hours, and you can switch to a bigger card for a day whenever a job needs it.
Guides
For colleges in Nepal
Teachers can give a whole class real GPUs with one join link: hand out credits, set limits students cannot raise, and see what each student spends. How a class works and what it costs.
Questions
Are the GPUs in Nepal?
Most are not. The hosts are data centres and verified operators around the world, and each offer shows its country before you rent. For training, notebooks and batch jobs the distance makes little practical difference: you connect over the internet as with any cloud service.
Can I pay in Nepali rupees?
Yes. Accounts in Nepal are billed in Nepali rupees. You add credits by card in NPR on a secure Stripe page and they appear as soon as the payment goes through. The payment is processed abroad, so the card must be enabled for international online payments.
Do I need a company account or ID?
No. Anyone can sign up with Google or an email address. There is no ID upload: your first payment is how we know who you are.
Is there a free trial?
No, but you can start small: the smallest top-up is NPR 200, which buys about 9.5 hours on the cheapest 24 GB card today, the Tesla V100.
What happens if I forget to stop a machine?
You set the limits: a daily or monthly spending limit, a timer for each machine, and an idle stop for machines doing nothing. When your credits run low we warn you, then stop the machine; its disk is kept.
