Who is responsible

Talkc Ai Pvt. Ltd., Kathmandu, Nepal, which operates PowerPod. Contact: compute@talkc.ai.

What we collect

Account details: your email address, your phone number if you give it, and your password, which we store only as a secure hash. If you sign in with Google, Google shares your name, email address and an account identifier with us; we never see your Google password.

Payments: the method, reference, amount and payer name of each top-up. We do not receive card numbers.

Identity documents, only if we ask for them: a photo ID and a selfie.

Usage: the instances you run, when, and what they cost.

Technical data: your IP address and browser details in our server logs, used for security, to prevent fraud, and to show prices in your currency.

Why we use it

To provide and bill the service, to verify identity and prevent fraud and abuse, to keep the records the law requires, to keep the service secure, and to answer you when you contact us. We do not sell your information and we do not build advertising profiles.

Who can see it

Our staff, where their work needs it. Our hosting partners, who receive what is needed to run your instance — your public SSH key and the software you chose — and who can technically access the server they operate. The payment provider you choose to pay with. Authorities, where the law requires it.

Identity documents are never shared with hosting partners.

Because hosting partners operate the hardware, do not put highly sensitive data on an instance without encrypting it yourself.

Cookies

We use one cookie to keep you signed in and one to remember the currency you chose. During Google sign-in a third cookie, deleted within ten minutes, ties Google’s answer to your browser. There are no advertising or analytics cookies. Pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address when they load.

How long we keep it

Account information is kept while your account is open. Billing records are kept for as long as Nepali law requires. Identity documents, if we asked for them, are deleted 90 days after your account is closed or after a check we did not accept, unless the law or an open dispute requires us to keep them longer.

Where it is stored

Our servers are in India. Your instances run on hosting partners’ servers, in the country shown on each offer.

Security

All traffic is encrypted. Identity documents are stored privately and are never publicly reachable. Access to personal information is limited to the staff who need it.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or to close your account, by writing to compute@talkc.ai. We may need to keep some records where the law requires.

Changes

We will update this page when our practices change, and tell you by email or in the console when a change is material.
